Young Whitewashes Rangers
|
Anthony Young of the New York Yankees humiliated the Texas Rangers at Yankee Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Texas manager Sean Norman, after the game.
Young whiffed 3 and walked 0 in the 2-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Young said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
Thus far this season, Young has tossed 60.2 innings in 10 starts, fanned 32 batters, walked 29 and put up a 4.01 ERA with 4 wins and 4 losses.
