San Diego Hexed: No-Hit by Pichardo
|
It was the game that pitchers dream about: the no-hitter.
It happened today at Jack Murphy Stadium. Hipolito Pichardo of the Toronto Blue Jays was right on target against the San Diego Padres in a 7-0 victory. Pichardo zeroed in on them, holding them hitless with 3 strikeouts and 2 walks.
"I just had it all today," Pichardo told BNN reporters after the game. "Very good stuff and great location. That is a combination that's hard to beat."
