Late Rally Seals 5-4 Win for White Sox
The Chicago White Sox faced a tough opponent in Orlando pitcher Jimmy Key, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Comiskey Park by a final score of 5-4. Key went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Chicago reliever Jeff Brantley was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-1. Rod Beck took the loss for Orlando. The White Sox saw their record improve to 22-29.

Kevin Reimer was the walk-off hero for Chicago. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the White Sox designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Reimer said in his postgame press conference.
