|
The Cleveland Spiders defeated the Texas Rangers, 7-2, in Federal League action at Arlington Stadium, with Cleveland pitcher Pete Schourek named player of the game. Schourek, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 2 earned runs. Cleveland, now 2-3, is off to a slow start.
