Creams Drop Knights with Late Score
|
The Milwaukee Creams picked up a win at Comiskey Park, knocking off the Charlotte Knights, 5-3. Starting pitcher Kenny Rogers played a key role in the triumph. The Creams are now 33-21, while the Knights fall to 30-26.
Milwaukee relied on the hitting of Ken Caminiti to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Creams on top, 4-3. For the game, Caminiti had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"Enjoyed this one," Rogers told the Milwaukee Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
