Dodgers Lose to Diamondbacks, 2-0
|
Los Angeles pitcher Bartolo Colon gave the Diamondbacks all they could handle, but in the end, Arizona left Dodger Stadium with a 2-0 win. Colon allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits over 9 innings. Danny Patterson got the save, the 16th for him this season. Arizona has a 3-game win streak, while Los Angeles has lost 3 in a row.
Butch Huskey contributed to the Arizona win. The 25-year old left fielder stroked a 2-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, Huskey went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"It's no secret that good defense follows around people who throw strikes," said Arizona manager Alen Maglajac.
