Guthrie Sensational for Expos
|
Spirited fans at SkyDome greeted the Toronto Blue Jays for their clash with the Montreal Expos.
Montreal left-hander Mark Guthrie made an effective start against the Toronto Blue Jays at SkyDome, leading his team to a 6-1 win. The first-place Expos have a one-game lead in their division.
Guthrie delivered a quality start for Montreal. The 6' 4" left-hander allowed 1 run on 6 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Guthrie said.
