Alou Hittin' on All Cylinders
Moises Alou grabbed a piece of baseball history at Dodger Stadium today, when he hit for the cycle and added his name to the record books. The Los Angeles Dodgers took a little gloss off his shine, however, when they grabbed a 8-7 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

For the day, Alou went 4-for-6 with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored.

"I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Alou said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me. The ball seemed that big to me. And it just floated in."

Moises Alou struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Ricardo Rincon in the 9th and flied out in the 11th.

Alou is currently batting .294 with 15 home runs and 38 RBIs.
