Pettitte Twirls Senators to Shutout Win
|
Andy Pettitte of the Washington Senators humiliated the San Diego Padres at RFK Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 2 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said San Diego manager , after the game.
Pettitte whiffed 9 and walked 1 in the 1-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Pettitte said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
