The Seattle Pilots beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-5, at Bank One Ballpark. Seattle first baseman J.T. Snow earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Seattle reliever Jose Lima picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Danny Patterson was saddled with the loss. Darren Holmes converted his 15th save in 17 tries.
The critical at-bat for Seattle came in the top of the tenth inning. With one out, Snow hit a 2-run single, putting Seattle up, 5-3.
In postgame remarks, Snow simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
