Giants Trip Athletics in Extras
|
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 30-year old center fielder Steve Finley, the San Francisco Giants stopped the Oakland Athletics, 3-2. San Francisco now has a 3-game win streak.
In the top of the 11th, with the game tied, Oakland allowed the Giants to go up, 3-2, on a Oakland error.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Alen Maglajac.
