Dodgers Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Padres
Benefiting from Homer Bush's productive game, the Los Angeles Dodgers downed the San Diego Padres, 8-6. Bush was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Dodgers. Lance Painter picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-2. Mark Langston was tagged with the loss. Los Angeles has now won 3 in a row.

Bush came through with some timely hitting for Los Angeles. With the score 4-4 in the bottom of the sixth and two down, Bush hit a 1-2 slider for a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season made it 6-4, Los Angeles.
