Vinny Castilla added some punch to the Seattle offense, helping them outmuscle the Colorado Rockies, 11-8. In the game, Castilla, who led the UL in RBI with 116 in 1991, was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Colorado's current losing streak is now 4 games.

With Seattle leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Castilla hit a forkball from Jack McDowell for a 2-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Pilots ahead, 4-0.
