Multi-HR Day for Trammell as Orioles Overpower Expos, 8-4
|
Baltimore shortstop Alan Trammell had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Montreal Expos, 8-4. Roger McDowell converted his 14th save in 15 tries. Baltimore is now 31-29. Montreal is 34-25.
Trammell had a key at-bat for Baltimore early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and gave Baltimore an early 3-0 lead.
"We take it day by day here," said Trammell, "and today was a good one for us."
