Spirited fans at Comiskey Park greeted the Charlotte Knights for their clash with the Cincinnati Reds.

The Cincinnati Reds got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Mike Mussina, but it was good enough for the club to take a 3-0 decision over the Charlotte Knights. Doug Henry, credited with the save, is now 6 for 9 in save opportunities.

The Reds got a big at-bat from first baseman Scott Spiezio. For the game, Spiezio went 1-4 with a double. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 12th double of the season gave Cincinnati a 1-0 lead.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Mussina.

Cincinnati bumps their record to 33-28 with the win.
