|
Milwaukee starter Kenny Rogers pitched effectively against the Cincinnati Reds at Riverfront Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. The win was Jeff Calhoun's in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Doug Henry took the loss for Cincinnati. Milwaukee has now won 3 in a row.
Having an impact for Milwaukee was Ken Caminiti. In the top of the ninth inning, the six-time All-Star had a 2-run single to make the score 5-3, Creams.
