Reds Come Back Late, Nip Marlins
The Cincinnati Reds picked up a win at Riverfront Stadium, knocking off the Florida Marlins, 4-3. Starting pitcher Joey Hamilton played a key role in the triumph. Earning his 1st save for Cincinnati was Doug Henry. The loss drops Florida to 1-1.

Cincinnati took a 4-3 lead on Bobby Higginson's 1st hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Higginson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Florida pitcher Bryan Harvey visibly frustrated.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hamilton.
