Young Fires Shutout in Los Angeles Win
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers rolled to an easy 6-0 win over the Seattle Pilots at Dodger Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Matt Young, who shackled the Seattle Pilots and held them scoreless on a 4-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Young said in his postgame press conference.
Thus far this season Young has posted a 6-3 record, started 14 games, struck out 94 batters in 104.2 innings and compiled a 2.49 ERA.
