Neagle Spins Shutout
|
The Kansas City Royals rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Chicago White Sox at Comiskey Park today. Leading the way to victory was starter Denny Neagle, who shackled the Chicago White Sox and held them scoreless on a 2-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Neagle said in his postgame press conference.
This year Neagle has registered 9 wins and 1 loss in 15 starts with a 3.07 ERA while registering 104 strikeouts and 22 walks in 105.2 innings.
