Washington Get 6-1 Win Behind Lefty DeLeon
|
Jose DeLeon pitched a gem in leading Washington to a 6-1 victory over the Montreal Expos. Even with the win, the Senators have a dismal 22-50 record.
DeLeon delivered a quality start for Washington. The 6' 4" right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8.1 innings of work.
"I got in a good groove," said DeLeon. "I was getting some swings and misses."
