Pirates Beat Visiting Red Sox, 5-3
It was a good time at Three Rivers Stadium, where fans came to watch the Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates get after it.

Starting pitcher Butch Henry pitched well enough to help the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Boston Red Sox by the score of 5-3. Bryan Harvey converted his 19th save in 19 tries.

Mike Bordick had a productive at-bat for the Pirates with one out in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 3rd, the shortstop hit a run-scoring single. The at-bat was important in the Pittsburgh win.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Henry said.

The Pirates bumped their record to 39-33 with this latest triumph.
