Mets Come Back Late to Clip Rockies
The New York Mets defeated the Colorado Rockies, 11-7, in United League action at Mile High Stadium, with New York pitcher Paul Abbott named player of the game. New York is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Sammy Sosa had a productive at-bat for the Mets with two out in the top of the seventh. With a runner on 3rd, the center fielder reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. The at-bat was important in the New York win.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said New York manager Michael Kritikos.
