The Colorado Rockies downed the New York Mets, 7-2, at Mile High Stadium. Todd Helton led the way, going 2-for-2 for Colorado. The Rockies are now 39-35, while the Mets fall to 41-34.

Brian Banks had a productive at-bat for the Rockies with two out in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the catcher hit a run-scoring single. The at-bat was important in the Colorado win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Helton after the game.
