Kile, Twins Dispatch Sun Rays
|
The Minnesota Twins did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Orlando Sun Rays at Metrodome. Nobody did more than pitcher Darryl Kile, who captured player of the game honors. With the win, Minnesota goes to 37-41, while the Sun Rays fall to 33-46.
Kile gave Minnesota a solid start. The right-hander, who is listed at 6' 5", 190 lbs, allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 7.1 innings.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Kile.
