Abbott Helps White Sox Run Win Streak to 3
The Chicago White Sox beat the Chicago Cubs, 7-1, at Comiskey Park. Kurt Abbott was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. The 26-year old third baseman was a menace to Chicago all day. Chicago is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Abbott had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fourth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The White Sox went on to win.

"If it's down the middle," said Abbott, "you might as well hit it."
