Orioles Walk Off with Win
|
The Orioles grabbed a win, 4-3, at Memorial Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Los Angeles pitcher Bill Pulsipher. Pulsipher went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Orioles, now 5-2, have hit the ground running this season.
Johnny Damon had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the 13th. The Baltimore left fielder came through with a run-scoring single to put Baltimore in front, 4-3.
"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Baltimore manager Daniel Ward.
