The Minnesota Twins got a good effort from starter Pedro Astacio in defeating the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The final score was 4-2. Gene Walter was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 4 save opportunities. Minnesota bumps their record to 34-45 with the win.
Though he did not get the decision, Astacio did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8 innings, until Minnesota eventually rallied past the Cubs.
"Pedro was throwing free and easy," said Minnesota manager Darren Fischbach.
