Devil Rays Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Red Sox
Orlando beat Boston on the strength of starter Randy Tomlin's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. The Devil Rays saw their record improve to 43-39.

Paul O'Neill, who finished 5th in the FL in RBI with 126 in 1987, aided the Orlando cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter drove in 2 runs.

"We'll savor this win," Tomlin told the Orlando Today, "then get ready for the next game."
