Rangers Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Minnesota
|
Starting pitcher Jason Bere pitched well enough to help the Texas Rangers beat the Minnesota Twins by the score of 6-3. The 5th-place Rangers now have a win-loss record of 30-51.
Rob Deer went 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI for Texas. The 33-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Rob Dibble. It was his 18th walk of the season.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Deer.
