Both teams had their chances, but the Seattle Pilots eventually prevailed at Kingdome.

The Seattle Pilots knocked off the Arizona Diamondbacks, 3-2. Seattle starter Jose Rosado pitched well enough to earn top player honors. The Pilots saw their record improve to 38-44.

Pat Listach was the walk-off hero for Seattle. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pilots second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This joint was rocking," said Listach.
