Correa Lays Hammer Down in 2-1 Win
The Montreal Expos got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ed Correa, who muffled the Toronto offense en route to a tight 2-1 Expos win at SkyDome. Ken Howell earned his 23rd save in 28 chances. Montreal improves to 54-28 with the win. They lead their division by 7 games.

Correa tossed 145 pitches over 8.2 innings to clinch the win for the Expos. The right-hander allowed just no hits, while racking up 10 strikeouts in the game.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Correa.
