Hamelin Pounds UL Pitchers This Week Monday, April 10th, 1995 At the age of 27, Bob Hamelin might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Colorado first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .348 batting average. For his efforts Hamelin collected the United League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. |
