Alex Rodriguez, the Washington Senators 21-year-old shortstop, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for United League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 8 hits in 22 at-bats, compiling a .364 average with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs. So far this year Rodriguez has hit .279 with 15 home runs, 30 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
