Seattle-Toronto Trade: West for Hudson Sunday, June 29th, 1997 Newspapers in Seattle and Toronto reported that the Pilots have reached a deal sending 32-year-old LHP David West to the Blue Jays for 26-year-old minor league RHP Joe Hudson. On the season West has compiled a 7-5 mark with a 4.38 ERA in 16 starts. In pitching 98.2 innings he has 92 strikeouts and 55 walks while limiting the opposition to a .226 batting average. |
