Week's Premier Player: Orlando's Biggio Monday, May 1st, 1995 At the age of 29, Craig Biggio might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Orlando second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .636 batting average. For his efforts Biggio collected the Federal League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 14 hits in 22 at-bats, 5 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far on the season Biggio is hitting .347 with 8 home runs, 16 RBIs and 30 runs scored.
