Federal League Names Rookie of Month Monday, May 1st, 1995 Youngster Brian S Giles emerged as the latest Federal League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from St. Louis deserved the honor, batting .318 with 10 home runs and 25 RBI. Is the month of April a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Giles enjoy the limelight. |
