Guthrie Whitewashes Toronto Saturday, July 5th, 1997 Today was Mark Guthrie's turn in the rotation for the Montreal Expos and he made the most of it, shutting out the Toronto Blue Jays on 6 hits. The 31-year-old left-hander led the Expos to an easy 10-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 7 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Toronto manager Jose Mata said.
