UL's #1 Player, Bichette of Seattle Monday, May 8th, 1995 At the age of 31, Dante Bichette might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Seattle right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .524 batting average. For his efforts Bichette collected the United League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 5 games. Currently Bichette has 11 home runs and a .306 batting average. |
