Arizona Diamondbacks Ship Batista to St. Louis Thursday, July 31st, 1997 Arizona and St. Louis have agreed to a trade today. 26-year-old RHP Miguel Batista will go to the Cardinals. In exchange the Diamondbacks will receive 26-year-old minor league LHP Jason Jacome and 26-year-old minor league LF Eric Owens. This season Batista has compiled a 7-4 mark with a 4.23 ERA. |
