Tigers Herrera Suffers Setback Thursday, September 4th, 1997 The Detroit Tigers announced today that Jose R Herrera will miss an additional 2 weeks after the center fielder suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from shoulder tendinitis. While the setback is believed to be minor, the Tigers want Herrera to take his time and fully recover before coming back. Currently Herrera is batting .274 with 45 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 11 runs and scored 20 times. |
