More Injury Problems For Los Angeles's Shawn Green Monday, September 8th, 1997 It was learned today in Los Angeles that first baseman Shawn Green would miss more time because his recovery from a broken bone in the elbow was not going as well as expected. The Dodgers, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Green would only miss 9 months more. Shawn Green is expected to undergo surgery in Los Angeles(California) tomorrow. This year Green is hitting at a .224 pace with 14 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 62 games and scored 42 times. |
