Hamilton Tosses Shutout Thursday, September 25th, 1997 The Cincinnati Reds rolled to an easy 10-0 win over the Cleveland Spiders at League Park today. Leading the way to victory was starter Joey Hamilton, who shackled the Cleveland Spiders and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Hamilton said in his postgame press conference.
