Monday, July 3rd, 1995
The Kansas City Royals rolled to an easy 12-0 win over the Texas Rangers at Arlington Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Kevin Brown, who shackled the Texas Rangers and held them scoreless on a 5-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Brown said in his postgame press conference.
Thus far this season Brown has posted a 14-2 record, started 19 games, struck out 161 batters in 150.1 innings and compiled a 2.39 ERA.
