Toronto Blue Jays Ship Jackson to Baltimore Tuesday, July 25th, 1995 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Toronto and Baltimore confirmed an agreement. The Blue Jays dealt 26-year-old LF Lyle Mouton, 25-year-old minor league 1B Ricky Gutierrez, 33-year-old LHP Danny Jackson and 33-year-old C Darren Daulton to the Orioles for 30-year-old LF Ron Gant and 29-year-old C Jeff Tackett. This year Jackson has a 7-6 record with a 4.42 ERA in 17 starts. Presently Gant is batting .235 with 28 home runs and 52 RBIs. He has played in 104 games and scored 63 times. |
