Pittsburgh-Chicago Trade: Nied for Reynolds Friday, July 28th, 1995 There were plenty of hugs and handshakes all around as 26-year-old RHP David Nied left the Pittsburgh Pirates today en route to joining the Chicago White Sox organization. 27-year-old RHP Shane Reynolds will be traveling to Pittsburgh Pirates to complete the swap. So far this season Nied has a 5-7 record with a 5.32 ERA. This year Reynolds has compiled a 9-9 mark with a 4.15 ERA in 20 starts. |
