Gant Bags UL Best Player Award Monday, July 31st, 1995 All week long Ron Gant made the highlight reels and made headlines -- his name and face were everywhere. Gant put up a solid set of stats, compiling a .393 average (11-for-28) and contributing 5 home runs and 9 RBIs to claim the honor.
