UL Announces Outstanding Batter Award Tuesday, August 1st, 1995 Seasoned by several years of professional experience, 30-year-old Ron Gant put together a solid offensive month for Toronto and was crowned July's top batter in the United League. He batted .344 with 12 home runs, 19 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Currently Gant has 34 home runs and a .248 batting average. |
