Year Over for Yankees Grace

The season is apparently over for Mike J Grace. The New York Yankees medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 10-11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Grace was hurt in the game against Minnesota while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
So far in 24 appearances this season, Grace has recorded 5 wins and sustained 13 losses. He has pitched 153 innings, yielded 173 hits, fanned 105 and has a 5.59 ERA.
