Jordan Sticks it to FL Pitchers Monday, August 7th, 1995 At the age of 28, Brian Jordan might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Orlando center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .609 batting average. For his efforts Jordan collected the Federal League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 14 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs and 4 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far this season Jordan has hit .284 with 19 home runs, 60 RBIs and scored 81 times. |
