Recovery Slow For Cardinals Miguel Batista Tuesday, August 8th, 1995 It was learned today in St. Louis that starting pitcher Miguel Batista would miss more time because his recovery from a forearm strain was not going as well as expected. The Cardinals, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Batista would only miss 6 days more. This season Batista has compiled a 10-6 record with a 3.78 ERA in 23 starts. |
